Mr Harley explained what the problem was with my left thumb in a manner that was simple to understand. He drew diagrams to show me where the incisions would occur for my trapeziectomy and explained the benefits and possible side effects, post-op. He came across as caring, knowledgable and honest. I had no doubt that he was a surgeon who would ensure the best possible outcome for me. I would definitely recommend him to others who are considering this operation.

Very professional. Explained everything in detail and answered all questions. I had two finger joints replaced due to osteoarthiritis and I can honestly say that the procedure was 100% successful in removing pain. I was expecting a greatly reduced range of movement as that had been explained as a possibility; however, I am pleased that with continued exercise I have more movement than I was expecting. The hand is now usable without suffering pain.
